Sheffield Plate, the much-loved food hall within Orchard Square, is celebrating its third anniversary this month.
To mark the milestone, this Friday 18th October, Sheffield Plate is offering the first 100 customers a free coffee, from the recently opened Coffee Bar within the venue.
Dubbed the ‘friendliest food hall in Sheffield’, Sheffield Plate is an established community space, renowned for championing and nurturing local talent in the independent food scene, offering a unique and diverse range of food, drink and entertainment to customers.
Commenting on the anniversary, Shay Murray, Orchard Square Manager, said: “We are delighted to be celebrating three years of Sheffield Plate this month.
“We would like to thank our teams, vendors and customers for their support in helping to create a welcoming, inclusive and safe place that brings communities together.
“We look forward to building on this achievement in the years to come as we continue to move from strength to strength.”
Graham Pickersgill, from Colombo by Ayubowan Street Food, which has been part of the original line up at Sheffield Plate since 2021, commented: “This year marks three incredible years for Ayubowan Restaurant as part of the Sheffield Plate family!
“Our partnership with the team and fellow vendors has fostered a supportive community, positioning the venue at the heart of Sheffield City’s dining scene.
“Since opening, we’ve experienced remarkable growth, allowing us to expand our brand with our Street Food concept, Colombo by Ayubowan Street Food.

Sheffield Plate offers a full entertainment schedule of free live music and events including Live Music Fridays, Quiz Tuesdays, Kids Clubs and a recently launched monthly Comedy Club, and much more.
