Sheffield food hall Kommune is set to close its doors for a major revamp, with its final day of trading confirmed as Saturday, 1 March.
Located in the historic Castle House on Angel Street, the venue will undergo a transformation before reopening at the end of April under a new name: Department. While details on the changes are still under wraps, it’s been confirmed that a mix of familiar and fresh traders will be part of the revamped space.
A spokesperson for the venue said: “This spring, Castle House is transforming into a brand-new social hub – designed for you and your favourite people. Get ready for a fresh, re-imagined space built for unforgettable moments. Can’t wait to welcome you back!”
