Open to the public next month, an exciting new bar concept has arrived at New Era Square, offering a diverse range of experiences that span from live sports events to cutting-edge VR gaming.
Set over two floors, Panenka is located at the entrance to New Era Square – a thriving hub of restaurants, bars and cafes situated between Bramall Lane and London Road.

Inside you’ll find a whopping 35 screens and 3 separate bar areas, making it the perfect spot for watching a wide range of live sport – especially when you throw in regular matchday offers, exclusive packages and plush VIP booths to really take things up a notch!
If you’re feeling peckish, the Asian-inspired menu contains everything from fried gyozas and bao buns to Korean corndogs and Sichuan burgers. The food offering is nicely complemented by a wide selection of cocktails and beers, while Sheffield’s only ‘bento box bottomless brunch’ will run 12-6pm every Saturday.

Elsewhere, the mezzanine at Panenka will serve up a premium gaming experience – with pool tables, arcade games and exclusive Virtual Reality pods that allow up to 4 guests to step into a virtual gaming world and play the latest releases in 5K resolution including The Walking Dead, The Exorcist and Hubris. Head downstairs and you’ll find augmented reality darts and shuffleboard to get stuck into, plus bookable karaoke booths accommodating up to 15 people!
