Punk rock band IDLES have announced a run of 11 in-store shows promoting the release of new album Joy as an Act of Resistance, out August 31st.
The Bristolian quintet will be performing across the country from August 30th to September 7th at various record stores, including Sheffield’s Record Junkee on 5 September. Tickets are available here, with the performance scheduled for 1pm.
A two day gallery at London’s HM Electrics Gallery has also been planned, with proceeds from any artwork sold going to the Samaritans charity.
The band recently released the album’s debut track, also named Samaritans, which precedes a world tour starting in September. For more information, visit www.idlesband.com.
