Sheffield Food Festival has teamed up with Sheffield’s O2 Academy to curate a tasty line-up of live acts and DJs, hosted by Sheffield’s own Just Alfie…

 

11:30AM – Emily J Electric 

Emily J Electric offers a unique DJ set electrified with LED lights, live flute, and her electric wind instrument. Building on a solid classical education in flute playing, expect infectious energy and a few surprises

12:35PM – Jodie Rose 
Performing a mix of country and rock, Derbyshire-based Jodie Rose has been performing live since her early teens.

1:05PM – Dog Coffee
Dog Coffee has spent the past two years playing as many shows as possible, gaining a name for both his song-writing and dynamic stage presence. In only a short time he has managed to make a big impact within the underground music scene, creating a grassroots fan-base and gaining notoriety through a DIY ethos and a catalogue of songs that deal with death, anxiety, and depression.

1:35PM – Sabrina Jade 
Soulful singing over bright ukulele sounds, Sabrina Jade brings her emotive performance of folk pop to Sheffield Food Festival.

2:05PM – Rachael Webster 
Incredibly talented wordsmith with a unique voice and a gift for creating beautiful and moving songs.

2:35PM – JayRar 
Chesterfield-based singer-songwriter known for his flexible and soulful voice, JayRar mixes songs from many different genres into a live lounge, stripped back sound.

3:05PM – Just Alfie 

Alfie’s second set of the weekend performing a set of songs inspired by soul legends Marvin Gaye and Nina Simone.

3:35PM – Sofia Vago 

Combining 60s-style vocals and jazz influences, Sofia has been working with the likes of Razorlight and Modern Strangers on her new EP, but not before she stops by the Food Festival for the third year running.

4:30PM – Caroline Francess & The Light

Saturday night’s headliner is the award-winning Caroline Francess & The Lights who’ll be bringing powerful vocals, melodic piano and theatrical song-writing to the Eats Treats and Beats Village.

5:45PM – Matic Mouth 

Another local supplying the vibes, Matic Mouth is an MC who was recently part of hip-hop collective Clubs & Spades. Since going solo, Matic Mouth has become something of a statesman for
the local scene, frequently championing upcoming artists and cementing his own reputation via solo releases, working with hip-hop collective Clubs & Spades and opening stages for the likes of Public Enemy and Akala.

6:45PM – Broken Piano

Industrial synths, dirty sub drops, brooding piano tunes and intricate percussion patterns, Broken Piano are not an act to be missed!

7:15PM – Andrew Warner 
Manchester-based acoustic artist bringing the cool indie pop sound to the Eats, Beats and Treats Village.

7:45PM – Darlin’ 
Original rock band that doesn’t cut corners and aims purely to bring magic the magic of live music to this year’s Sheffield Food Festival.

8:30PM – Geoff Ticehurst
Geoff has been DJing in Sheffield forever. Expect a blend of tunes to keep the dancefloor moving and the good times rolling.
