Several pubs across Sheffield are giving away a free pint as part of National Pub Fortnight, with 50,000 pints expected to be pulled between 20 July and 5 August.

Pubs owned by Star Pubs and Bars and Ei Publican Partnerships are taking part in the UK-wide initiative, giving drinkers the chance to sup a pint of Fosters, John Smiths, Kronenburg, Strongbow, Heineken, Amstel or Bulmers for free! That’s right, a pint for absolutely nowt.

Brigid Simmonds, chief executive of the British Beer and Pub Association, said: “The great British pub is the beating heart of any local community. It’s where we go to spend quality time with family and friends, and National Pub Fortnight is both a reminder and celebration of the vital role pubs play in our local community.”

Barry’s Bar, Doctor’s Orders and Sheaf House (pictured) are just some of the Sheffield pubs taking part.
