You might have seen the billboards around Sheff already… Molly Malones is coming to Sheffield. So what do we know about the upcoming bar?
Huttons Bar on West Street is set to be transformed into an ‘authentic Irish tavern’. Opening September, they’ll be showing sports in the day over the weekend (think premier league, UFC, boxing), with live music Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays.
You’ll be able to grab some grub with your Guinness too, as they’ll be serving up a bar food menu of classics like pizza and chicken wings.
With the September opening hitting just in time for the next round of students coming to the city, Malones say they’ll be student friendly, with drinks offers on all week.
Although there’s quite a few bars around the world bearing the name Molly Malone, the heroine of a well-known Irish ballad, West Street’s latest addition isn’t part of an Irish pubs chain, and is being set up by the same team behind CODE.
