This Sunday (March 11) sees the return of the popular Ball Street Deli to its picturesque surroundings on the historic Ball Street bridge, once more bringing a superb mix of independent food/drink vendors, local makers and live music to the area.
The sixth instalment of the market will take place between 12-4pm, and there’ll be the usual favourites serving up grub such as Netheredge Pizza, Depot Bakery, Olive Bar, Urban Pantry and plenty more. Newcomers to the area Gatehouse will be serving up waffles and crepes, while Lovely Pear have the sweet stuff covered with homemade vegan cupcakes, layer cakes, tarts, cookies and brownies. Drinks-wise, Smith Street Coffee are bringing the beans and Vintro Bar are providing the fizz.
There’ll be more than just food and drink on offer, too, with Books on the Park selling quality second-hand books, Kelham Island Arts Collective showcasing local artists and Sheffield Candle Company exhibiting their selection of sustainably sourced candles.
But all that is just a small taster, Sheffield – head down and meet all of the traders for yourself this weekend!
