THE BAR IS BUILT AROUND THE ICONIC STAIRCASE
A big feature of the Castle House building is the iconic staircase which Kommune’s bar has been built around. Featuring a permanent selection of ales from Freedom Brewery, continually changing guest taps and a varied wine and cocktail list plus a range of house-made cordials and sodas mean no one will be without a tipple suited to them once the doors open.
RETAIL THERAPY
The retailers joining the Kommune family are both well loved Sheffield shops who have decided to relocate. Hop Hideout will be providing craft beer, cider, specialist natural, bio-dynamic and organic wines and spirits in ‘a one-stop shop for great quality drinks to take home’. Joining Hop Hideout is La Biblioteka – a specialist magazine, book and printing shop.
THE VIEWING ROOM
Heading up the art department at Kommune will be The Viewing Room brought to you by the creators of 99 Mary St and DED design agency. A contemporary gallery with a focus on pop, urban and contemporary art showcasing the works of established pop art idols as well as exciting new works by local and international up-and-coming artists. The gallery space will host many unique exhibitions, events and workshops aimed to promote engagement with contemporary art.
