On Friday 16 June, the Gardeners Rest pub in Kelham Island will welcome the final Worrall Festival fundraiser of the year.
Between 6:30 and 11pm, the pub will play host to an open-mic session, a BBQ and a selection of beers – an exciting taster of what will be on offer at the Worrall Festival & Gala later this summer.
The event is free, but all donations during the night will support the Worrall Festival & Gala, an annual festival held in Worrall, a village just outside of Sheffield. All proceeds from the weekend-long celebration of local live music, ales and food will go towards improving community facilities in the village. During the day, there will also be plenty of fun activities for all the family.
Anyone is welcome to play at Friday’s open-mic session – just let the organisers known in advance, or arrive on the night with an instrument!
