Exposed Magazine

The countdown to Taylor Swift’s Liverpool concert has driven Swifties in Liverpool crazy with the majority doing everything within their power to prepare fully for the concert ahead of time. The “Eras Tour” has maintained the heat since 2023. No wonder everyone’s on their heels.

Countries have reportedly begged Taylor Swift and her touring team to consider bringing the tour to their nation. This is because, everywhere that the “Eras Tour” visits, that nation observes an economic boost like they’ve never seen before. Countries that have been lucky to host the concert have attested to the greatness that Taylor Swift brings along with her.

The countries that aren’t lucky enough to host the concert have the Swifties in them travelling interstate just to see Taylor perform in other countries, and that is a bit sad.

Nevertheless, the “Eras Tour” will be in England’s Liverpool on the 13th of June, 2024. The concert will be held at Liverpool’s Anfield, which has a concert capacity of 61k people. Because a lot of people will be standing through Taylor Swift’s concert on that day, there’s an indication that Anfield will contain more than 61k people on that day.

The concert will last for 3 days, including 14th and 15th of June. It currently looks like the Swifties there have close to a month to prepare, but they are not letting on from the look of things. Guess, they are taking the saying of “making hay while the sun shines” more seriously than we thought.

But, they wouldn’t be the first set of Swifties to walk the extra length, while preparing for Taylor Swift’s concert. We’ve seen a case even more serious than this with the Swifties in Argentina, where they camped out for 6 months in front of Bueno Aires, ahead of Taylor Swift’s arrival.

In the spirit of preparations, amidst the hustle and bustle, one thing remains a mystery for some unfortunate few, which is, how to get hold of Taylor Swift tickets. Alongside the popularity of the tour, getting tickets to the concert has also become a difficult task.

This is why we now recommend looking up Taylor Swift Liverpool tickets through an online tickets marketplace before D-Day gets here.

In the meantime, save yourself unnecessary stress, and check out the list of items banned at Anfield. This will help you get your things together before seeing Taylor Swift.

List Of Banned Items At Anfield – Liverpool (Don’t Bring Them)

In this section of the article, we’ll review a list of banned items at the Anfield Stadium. You’re best advised to leave these items at home, that is if you plan on bringing them along in the first place. Also, we’ll review alternative options to these items that will be listed here. Let’s check them out.

Suitcases or Bags Larger A4

One thing that would make you want to carry a bag or suitcase that is larger than A4 paper is the items you plan on taking along with you to the concert. However, by the time you’re done with this list, you’ll realise you don’t need the items that will fill your bag as expected.

With that out of the way, the appropriate bag size you’re expected to be at Anfield with is A4, and your bag should be transparent or clear so the items inside can be visible from the outside.

Large Umbrellas

Umbrellas are also prohibited in Anfield because, aside from the fact that they can be used as harmful objects, they can serve as obstructive objects on the concert grounds, when you open them. This will inconvenience other concert attendees.

For fear of rain or harsh weather, bring a hat and a jacket to keep you warm.

Drink Cartons

Yes, you can’t bring drink cartons as well. In this category are, but not limited to; Cans, Plastic, Bottles Over 500ml, Glass Bottles, and Drinking Glasses. This is because; these materials will not decompose quickly, eventually becoming harmful to the earth.

If you’re worried about water while at the concert, the touring team sort of has that covered. In most cases, during or before the concert, attendees are given water in refillables. This will surely be the case in Anfield.

Alcohol

You’ll surely not be allowed to bring alcohol in any form into Anfield. Aside from the fact that the bottles can be used as weapons, outside alcohol is prohibited.

Just ensure to bring along your ID for when it becomes necessary to flash it.

Drones

Drones are also prohibited at Anfield. Taylor’s touring team will have official drones capturing the event from the sky. You can always check out Taylor’s YouTube or Instagram where she usually posts the captured moments from each of her concerts.

Laptops/Computer Tablets

Wouldn’t these be too big for you to carry in the first place? And, why will you need a laptop or computer tablet when you have everything you need in your smartphone?

However, they are banned, so don’t bring them.

Recording Equipment/Large Cameras

Recording Equipment or Large Cameras are also banned at Anfield. A suitable alternative for these would be your smartphone which you can use to capture special moments at the concert.

You can alternatively choose to bring a very small digital camera, one you can hang around your neck or one that can fit in your pocket like a phone would.

Tools

Taylor surely has all the technicians she’ll need as part of her touring team, you can keep your tools at home.

In a situation where you’ll be leaving work straight to Anfield, ensure to store your tools before arriving at Anfield as you’ll not be allowed entrance into the venue with any sort of tool.

Weapons/Knives

Weapons are not allowed in Anfield, so also, knives. A lot of people might decide not to include knives in the category of weapons, especially if it’s a hobby to carry a “harmless little one” around.

This should save you the stress, and remind you to keep your knives at home, and also your weapons of any kind.

Laser Devices

Laser Devices and anything resembling lasers will be confiscated at the point of entry that is if you ignore this article and decide to bring one along. Keep your lasers at home.

Smoke Canisters

Smoke canisters are not allowed in Anfield. In this category, are, but not limited to; Fireworks and Flares. Taylor Swift’s touring team has a scheduled indoor firework that goes off occasionally, especially when it increases the excitement of attendees at the concert.

Generally, stadiums without roofs are benefactors of Taylor Swift’s intriguing fireworks. It doesn’t happen often, but Anfield will surely be one of the stadiums to experience the beautiful “Eras Tour” fireworks display since it doesn’t have a roof.

Also, there will occasionally be beautiful displays of LED Bracelets to replace flares, so you can choose to have an LED bracelet, as it is featured in the tour’s production.

Air Horns

Air horns are also banned from Anfield. This has been a standard rule since the “Eras Tour” began because; there will be enough noise at the concert ground, aside from the music. So, air horns will only make things worse.

Also, when it comes to Taylor Swift’s performance, you’re better off cheering, than using air horns.
