For the past few months The Leadmill have delivered some quality comedy shows for those of us who are in need of a good laugh, and May is no different. Have a look at these acts who are taking to the stage this month…


Robin Ince – Pragmatic Insanity // Wednesday 16th @ 7pm
His first solo show in three years, Robin Ince returns with a hilarious night about love, death and art. After completing a 70 date, recording breaking tour with Brian Cox, The Infinite Monkey Cage, this show is fizzing with ideas about creativity in science and beliefs.

Nathan Caton – Pursuit of Happiness // Wednesday 23rd @7pm
Nathan Caton is back! After his successful tour last year, he’s coming back to discuss all things from the personal to the political. His award-winning combination of personal and topical anecdotes has landed him gigs on both BBC1’s Live at the Apollo and BBC2’s Mock the Week, so this is definitely one not to miss.

Shappi Khorsandi – Mistress and Misfit // Thursday 31st @7pm
Star of Live and the Apollo, Shappi Khorsandi presents England’s unsung heroin, Emma Hamilton. Known as Nelson’s mistress, Emma Hamilton had a reputation as a harlot, dancing naked on tables to get ahead in life. As a fellow naked dancer on tables, Shappi is inspired by Emma, and presents her story with razor-sharp wit and charm.
