Shake off those January blues with a visit to one of Sheffield’s street food markets – with a range of vendors and flavours to suit all tastes, here are some of the events coming up you should put in your calendar.

Peddler Market // 2nd & 3rd Feb

Perhaps one of the most well-known markets in Sheffield, Peddler will next take place on the 2nd and 3rd of February. Over the past 9 years, Peddler has expanded and now hosts events not only in Sheffield, but in Chesterfield, Wakefield, and Leeds.

Vendors such as Brum Mi, Feed Fried Chicken, Roku, and The Depot Bakery will be taking part, with the market also featuring live music performances and craft stalls.

Peddler is free to attend and can be found in the Peddler Warehouse on Burton Road in Neepsend. More details can be found here.

Sheffield Vegan Market // 11th Feb // The Moor

market

The vegan market brings together up to 30 stalls, with a huge variety of vegan street food vendors, artisan bakers and craft brewers, as well as local artists and small businesses.

Taking place over the Moor shopping precinct, the vegan market is free to attend and will be held on the 11th of February.

Rex Market // 24th March // Neepsend

Situated in Neepsend, Rex market features a selection of street food and independent businesses. The market is dog friendly, and is taking place between 11 and 4 on the 24th of March.

Nether Edge Farmers Market // 24th March // Nether Edge

Held in the streets around the old Nether Edge marketplace since 2008, this Sunday market boasts over 80 stallholders and is entirely volunteer-run. As well as food, the event hosts a range of live entertainment, featuring traditional Morris dancers and modern street dancers.

Sharrow Vale Market // 21st April // Sharrow Vale Road

Sharrow Vale market hosts a variety of street food and local businesses, with the next event taking place on Sunday, April 21st.

Found on Sharrow Vale Road in South West Sheffield, regular traders in the past have included Caribbean Fusion, Get Wurst, Aamirs Street Food, Pinch n Pull, Cossak Cuisine, Heart of Sicily, and the Yorkshire Crepe Company.

Sheffield Food Festival // 25th – 27th May // Peace Gardens

Sheffield Food Festival

Sheffield’s annual food festival will return to the Peace Gardens in the heart of Sheffield from the 25th to the 27th of May. The event is free to attend and is split into various sections, including a section dedicated to street food.
