Families in Sheffield will be able to get an exclusive look at the BBC’s upcoming Christmas specials for beloved children shows ‘Zog’ and ‘The Midnight Gang’ on 16 December.


Sheffield is one of the nine cities in England that will be playing host to a free premiere of the Zog and The Midnight Gang Christmas episodes. Taking place in Tudor Square on 16 December, the screening will give children the opportunity to watch the popular specials before anyone else.

The screenings will take place in a specially built BBC Christmas cinema, complete with a red carpet on site where families can snap a pic with popular props from the BBC’s best known shows.

Helen Thomas, director of BBC England said: “These are two hugely popular children’s stories brought to life brilliantly by the BBC. I hope people will apply for free tickets so they can see them before anyone else. We want it to be a special experience for families ahead of a special time of year. Bringing content and exciting events directly to our audiences is part of our push to better serve communities across England.”
