Coldplay’s “Music of the Spheres World Tour” is coming to Munich, Germany for a 3-day show which will begin on the 15th, and end on the 18th of August with the band skipping 16th.

Due to their current reputation, you might feel that you are not preparing for the concert well enough but don’t worry. This article will help you with the basic guides on how to fully prepare for Coldplay’s “Music of the Spheres World Tour.”

Coldplayers in Germany have been quite supportive of Coldplay’s art. When the British band released their 9th Studio album, “Music of the Spheres” in 2021 the Coldplayers put in everything to see that the album become the talk of time.

Every media in Germany had something to say about Coldplay’s “Music of the Spheres,” and programs had lots of callers announcing their favorite in the album.

Because of this, “Music of the Spheres” immediately climbed up the charts, contesting for the No.2 spot on Germany Album Offizielle Top 100 within 1 week of its release, thanks to the Coldplayers there.

At the end of the year, the “Music of the Spheres” album maintained a position of No.42 on the same charts, making it one of the top 50 competitive albums of the year in Germany.

One might ask how Coldplay has reacted to the support shown to them by their fans in Germany. Well, Coldplay has a track record of rewarding their fans, that’s why they decided to schedule 12 shows in Germany.

6 in 2022, the same year the “Music of the Spheres World Tour” started, and 6 this year, 2024, the same year the “Music of the Spheres World Tour” will be ending.

Coldplay has also, because of their act towards German Coldplayers,  been recognized by Germany’s entertainment industry as the “First Act to Perform 3 Shows on a Single Tour,” “First Act to Have the Biggest Attendance of All Time, Totaling 216,535 People,” “First International Group to Schedule 3 Shows on a Single Tour,” among others.

Although these numerous recognitions made the Coldplayers in Germany happy, it also raised the level of anticipation that Germans had for the “Music of the Spheres World Tour” concert.

This in turn turned tickets to the concerts to hotcakes. Because a lot of people now want to see Coldplay perform their favorite songs live.

While refusing to let limited tickets serve as an obstacle to what the future holds for Coldplay’s “Music of the Spheres Concert in Munich,” we decided to share an alternative tickets marketplace where anyone who needs them can easily get Coldplay Munich tickets.

That being said, here’s a step-by-step guide on how to prepare for Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres Concert in Munich.

Step 1 – Get Your Tickets and ID Ready

The first step to preparing for Coldplay’s “Music of the Spheres Concert” in Munich is to get your Munich tickets ready, and also have your ID in place.

These 2, when missing, can restrict your access to the concert, or limit the way you vibe with Coldplay when the time comes for their performance.

For instance, if you forget your ID, then you will not be allowed to get any alcoholic drinks while in the concert. And we all know how good it feels when you’re above 18, and gulping down a cup of beer while singing along with thousands of others.

Forgetting your tickets or not having any at all will leave you vibing with Coldplay from outside the Olympiastadion.

Even though that is a good idea entirely, know that nothing beats watching Coldplay rock the stage live, as they do.

Step 2 – Pack Just Enough Not Too Much

Make sure to pack everything you need, not everything you want. Before entering Olympiastadion, your bag or whatever you carry will be checked or thoroughly searched for anything not supposed to be brought in.

That being said, there’s also a size for all bags that are allowed into the concert. For most, your bag must not be bigger than A4. Anything more than that size will not be allowed into the concert ground, so make sure to pack just what you need.

From another perspective, since Coldplay is expected to spend 3 nights in Munich, it means you might want to get accommodation.

If that is the case, then you can pack just enough of the things you’ll need for the complete 3 nights you’ll be spending in Munich.

After all, you have a hotel room where you can keep most of your things and take into Olympiadion only what you’ll need for the night.

Step 3 – Get To Olympiastadion

Adding this to the list because we know thousands of people couldn’t get Coldplay tickets in their hometown, making them travel elsewhere just to see their idols play.

If you’re one of such people, your next step will be to get to Olympiastadion located in Munich.

For Germans, locating the Olympiastadion in Munich will be extremely easy since Munich is the 3rd largest city in Germany after Berlin and Hamburg. It is also the capital of Bavaria, making it one of the most popular cities in Europe.

For non-Germans, to locate the Olympiastadion, all you need to do is get to the northern part of Munich. Also, the Olympiastadion is a popular place on its own.

It is the main venue for the 1972 Summer Olympics that took place in Germany so you won’t get lost.

Step 4 – Get Accommodation Nearby

As stated earlier, Coldplay will be performing live in the Olympiastadion, Munich for 3 days. Unless you plan on sleeping in the stadium, you will do well to book a hotel room for at least 4 days.

Even though we’ve seen situations where fans camp outside the concert venue so as not to miss the chance of seeing their idols play at a closer distance when the gates open, we won’t advise this as it has its disadvantages.

Better safe than sorry means you’re better off staying in a hotel room than camping outside the Olympiastadion. Unless you have no other option.

Also, from experience, it’s best to make reservations on time in the hotels closer to the Olympiastadion as they tend to get filled up in no time.

Remember, Coldplay has been recognized as “The First Musical Act to Have The Biggest Attendance of All Time in Munich totaling 216,535 People.”

This means that the Olympiastadion will be full and these people will also need places to stay. The earlier you make your reservations, the better.

Step 5 – Be Fully Familiar With Coldplay’s Music Of The Spheres World Tour Setlist

Even though it rarely happens, we’ve come across a few people who can’t sing every song on the “Music of the Spheres World Tour” set list word for word. Either they end up skipping some lines or mixing them.

That’s kind of bad and a perfect call-out. Don’t be like them. While we anticipate the “Music of the Spheres Concert” in Munich, start learning the lyrics of every song on the “Music of the Spheres World Tour” setlist.

On many occasions, Coldplay’s Chris Martin calls a fan onto the stage and makes that fan sing along with him. What if he picks you next?
