Hamas Utilizes Victim’s Phone to Contact His Parents

As the Israel-Hamas war continues, a chilling audio recording has made rounds on X (formerly Twitter) since Tuesday. In the audio, one Hamas fighter is heard bragging to his parents about how he successfully murdered ten Israelis at a Kibbutz. What’s more shocking is that he claims to have made the call using one of his victim’s phones.

The audio recording is another reminder of the many dangers that extremist ideologies pose. Moreover, it calls for an urgent need to curb terrorism in order to protect the lives of innocent people.

IDF Shares Another Audio of Hamas Fighter Bragging About Murdering Jews

The IDF (Israel Defence Forces) has unearthed another heart-rending audio recording that shows how terrorism is glorified in Gaza. According to the Israeli military, the audio was recorded using a Hamas terrorist mobile phone, which was recovered after the soldiers neutralized him.

In the recording, the terrorist proudly brags about gunning down several innocent Jews on October 7. The IDF played the audio at the UN Security Council in an effort to emphasize the need for countries to rally behind Israel as it attempts to eliminate terrorism and protect its citizens.

For years, Gaza has been involved in several conflicts, with the current war being the latest. The region is known to be a host of several terror groups. Besides Hamas, Islamic Jihad is another criminal organization based in Gaza.

On Tuesday, the United States Security Council held a meeting in New York to discuss the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict, which has caused a humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip following Israel Defense Forces’ air strikes. Israel’s Foreign Minister Eli Cohen and the State of Palestine’s Foreign Affairs Minister Riyad al-Maliki attended the meeting.

“Hostages Are Living a Nightmare,” Eli Cohen Says

While speaking at the UN Security Council meeting, Cohen said it was unimaginable what hostages under the hands of Hamas were going through. He then described the October 7 attack as a cruel massacre, calling Hamas terrorists the new Nazis.

The Israeli Foreign Minister demanded unconditional release of the captives, asking the UN Security Council to persuade Qatar, which has a healthy relationship with Hamas, to talk to the terror group about freeing the hostages.

Moreover, Cohen claimed that if all countries don’t stand by Israel’s goal to eliminate Hamas terrorists, then the United Nations won’t have any moral justification to continue existing.

“More Killing and More Injustice Won’t Make Israel Safer,” Riyad al-Maliki Says

During the United Nations Security Council meeting, Al-Maliki said it was the responsibility of the Council to advocate for humanity. However, he claimed that the Security Council has failed to perform its duties since the war began.

The State of Palestine’s Foreign Minister then said that more killing and injustice would not guarantee Israel’s safety. Instead, only an ever-lasting peace shared with Palestinians can give that assurance. Al-Maliki told the Council that Palestinians’ destiny shouldn’t be an unending cycle of displacement, dispossession, loss of life, and rights denial. He asked the UN to call for an end to the IDF’s campaign in the Gaza Strip to prevent further bloodshed.
