The British Oak will be hosting one of Mosborough’s biggest free events on Sunday 26th May.The fundraiser event will take place in the beer garden and car park and will feature all good things in life including live music, pizza and a variety of drinks.
The Spring Fete will also include activities for children between 2pm and 6pm and will feature a collective of musicians playing live music throughout the day. There will also be a chance to enjoy freshly made pizza that will be prepared in their pizza oven. You can look forward to getting your hands on a host of pizza varieties, including: Margherita, Pepperoni and Spicy Veggie. Drinks will be the star of the event and there will also be a one-off cocktail menu prepared especially for the day. You can expect a sweet variety of drinks including Pina Coladas, Strawberry and Rhubarb Sherberts, and Mango Coolers.
The spring bank holiday fete is in aid of St Luke’s Hospice who provide palliative and end of life care for people aged 18 and above throughout Sheffield, who are affected by terminal illness. Collection buckets will be in use throughout the day for attendees to make donations. Kelsey Warrilow, General Manager at The British Oak, spoke about how important it is to put on these events:
“We like to get involved with charitable events where possible and this one seemed like the perfect time to bring people together and really have some fun. As it’s a free event, we hope that those attending will donate generously, as St Luke’s are such a great charity.”
