Sensoria is kicking off this year’s festival with an outdoor screening of Yellow Submarine, marking 50 years since the film was released.
The Beatles’ classic animation combines psychedelic imagery, the group’s trademark humour and timeless tunes ‘Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds‘, ‘When I’m Sixty-Four‘ and of course the title track. The film will be screened on a waterfront inflatable screen on Victoria Quays.
There will be refreshments on site, including Sunshine Pizza Oven and Livvy’s ‘Blue Meanie’ ice creams. Tickets for the event start from £8 and are available here.
