The popular Japanese street food and sushi restaurant re-opened in Meadowhall early October after a seven-month refurbishment.

Robin Rowland, CEO of YO! said: “We’re very excited to be re-launching in Sheffield’s popular shopping and leisure centre.

“Following the refurbishment, we hope that the additional seating and new look of the restaurant will make it the ideal spot for shoppers to stop for a bite to eat, away from the hustle and bustle, especially in the lead up to Christmas!”

Located on the second floor of the shopping centre just outside of House of Fraser, the restaurant will seat up to 70 customers.

It’s the perfect pit stop for shoppers or for those who are after a quick bite, a relaxed evening meal or perhaps fancy grabbing something to take out.

YO! Sushi will be introducing a range of seasonal dishes from November 1, which will see a new selection of ‘Sumo-sized’ dishes being added to the menu. Ideal for lining the stomachs for the upcoming winter months!

With Halloween creeping around the corner, little ones will have the chance to get creative and decorate a monster bao with spooky edible eyes and frightening fangs.  The Monster meal also comes with a side of fries or vegetable sticks, and a delicious Dorayaki pancake, filled with ghoulish green custard and marshmallows.

From their best-selling katsu curries, flavoursome baos and crispy gyozas to their huge selection of sashimi, nigiri, maki and temaki – there will be something for everyone! Even for those who aren’t too keen on raw fish.

All you need to do is take a seat and be ready to strike as dish after dish whizzes by you on the iconic ‘kaiten’ conveyor belt. Can’t find what you’re after? Just order it straight from the team.

Don’t forget on Mondays you can enjoy any of their blue dishes for just £2.80 each! That’s my kind of blue Monday.
